We are looking for a web copy writer to join our team as an independent contractor. Primary responsibilities of this position: • Copy writing and copy editing for websites and email newsletters • Review and make recommendations for landing pages and creative • Work with clients to develop strong copy that works well on the web. Qualifications • Bachelors degree (English or Journalism is a plus) • 2 or more years experience in writing web copy. • Basic HTML skills needed • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Knowledge of Basecamp. • Knowledge in all major aspects of online marketing (Search engine optimization, pay per click management, affiliate marketing, etc.) This is a part-time, telecommuting, contract position.
