Putting off your work because you have home obligations is not what telecommuting is all about. A good home worker needs to understand that being hired to work from home is a privilege and shouldn't be taken advantage of. If you prioritize and organize your time then you can show your boss that you take your time and your job seriously. Why else should they trust you to work in a place where they cannot micro manage your efforts?
