Director of Digital Media - Online Marketing, Media Planning

Are you a marketing executive with over 5 years agency-side experience developing online campaigns specifically for clients using digital media as well as strong Media Buying and Planning experience?

What you need for this position:

• 5+ years of progressive business and or agency experience with demonstrated expertise in media planning and buying
• 5+ years planning online media and a strong understanding of both the strategic and tactical implications for interactive marketing executions
• Successful track record of planning, testing, launching, monitoring, optimizing and measuring online campaigns.
• Proven professional collaboration experiences with creative directors, copy writers, designers, business analysts, and outside partners
• Command of both traditional and leading edge marketing principles and techniques
• Strong knowledge of a variety of ad serving and tracking systems and performance analysis of campaign and ad unit results
• Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate them concisely to a variety of audiences
• Open to up to 40% travel to and from current or potential client sites, conferences, seminars and/or training sessions.
• Minimum Bachelors degree

What you will be doing:

Overall function: Work with Director of Corporate Development to document and build the online marketing and advertising
• Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics, targeted client challenges and competitive strategies
• Identify and evaluate key partnerships for the business related to media buying, email, search marketing, original content creation, etc and make recommendations
• Drive efforts on related issues including A/B testing, spend testing, online media mix, target audience profiling, budget allocation, and online and offline integration
• Partner with other domains to promote online marketing POV and tactics
• Provide leadership on all forms of digital media including exploration of emerging media channels or approaches
• Evaluate recommendations from media buying agencies for client projects and formulate our response or suggestions
• Oversee the delivery teams and ensure adherence to standards as outlined in the offering framework
• Assist business development, client service leaders and project managers by scoping online marketing and advertising offering tasks
