Environment: - - A Microsoft environment / web-based applications, ASP.NET/C#/SQL
Job Purpose: - - -Write, analyze, and run test cases for web-based applications.

The Opportunity
Responsibilities include the following:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be participating in the analysis, design and testing of a web based software . You will be helping to spec out new features and develop test plans and automated test scripts.
The application is hosted by IIS and written in C#/ASP.NET against MS SQL Server.
Candidates must be located in Austin.
Principal Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Regularly testing a mission-critical ASP.NET web application
Participating in the specification and documentation of new features
Developing and implementing test plans that encompass both automated and manual tests
Developing automated test scripts
Developing and implementing performance test plans
Experience / Skills:
You should:
Have at least 3 YEARS experience as software QA Engineer.
Have at least 2 YEARS experience developing automated test scripts with professional web site testing tools such as WINRUNNER, SQA ROBOT, SEGUE SILK, etc.
Have a proficient understanding of testing methodologies including automation, code coverage, model based testing, white-box testing, integration testing, etc.
Have experience designing web-based user interfaces from an aesthetic and technical perspective
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be a self-starter, motivated and able to manage your time and workload effectively in a virtual work environment

Education Level:
Bachelors Degree or some college course work in a computer field - preferred
