Web Developer / CSS Programmer
Dwarfdog Design is a full-service web design, web development and internet search company located in Boulder. Colorado. We are seeking experienced web designer/developers (as independent contractors) to develop and maintain websites for a number of small to medium sized clients.
Qualifications:
• Strong CSS skills with demonstrated samples of table-less web page production
• Self motivated, able to work independently , accurately and efficiently
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Experienced in user-interface design and fully comfortable with complex functionality, e-commerce development, content management systems, blogs and information architecture concepts
• Experienced in HTML, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and CSS
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
• Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness, with the ability to work concurrently on several projects with several clients
• Proficiency in ASP and ASP.Net, SQL Server, VB or C# a plus
• Proficiency in Flash Action scripting and a “designer’s” eye” a plus
• Proficiency in HTML coding for online email marketing, campaigns and newsletters a plus
• Excellent writing/copywriting skills a plus
Responsibilities:
• Work with designer, project manager and client to identify, clarify and implement user needs and requirements
• Create sitemaps, wireframes and other architectural documents
• Develop sites from Photoshop designs, sliced Photoshop elements or simple HTML templates
• Seamlessly integrate 3rd-party software components such as CMS, Blogs, Shopping carts and E-commerce
• Ensure quality control as well as site architecture and design integrity
• Deliver completed site within agreed-upon time frame, scope and cost
