New company to Los Angeles looking for funky web designer with 2+ years experience designing and building websites. We are a celebrity chef company and have 2 websites in desparate need of an upgrade. Knowledge or love of cooking/food a plus.
We are looking for someone who is committed, easy going, diligent and who loves what they do.
Currently we require this person on a part time basis however this can grow to a full time role in the future. We have lots of exciting projects happening in 2008 around podcasts, html’s, live shows, television etc and need to bring onboard someone who can be across all these areas with regards to web.
Tele-commuting is fine with a once weekly meeting with our VP IT and Production, so we are ideally looking for someone in Los Angeles.
Please advise us of all the programs you have experience using and if available samples of the websites you have built.
We are looking for flash intro, standard pages, a shopping cart (e-commerce ) facility, current performance dates/diary area, fan club joining area and podcast/video viewing abilities.
The successful applicant will also have experience in:
• Internet knowledge and search enginge optimization
• Familiarity with the capabilities and limitations of various browsers
and user operating systems as they apply to website development
• Strong writing and communication skills

We love what we do and we are looking for a team member to join our team long term. We are experiencing massive growth and now it’s time to get our web department up and running.
We are looking for someone to start asap as we will be back in Los Angeles from January 8th. In the meantime we will correspond via email to ascertain who is the right candidate.
