Recruitment Coordinator, Data

The recruitment coordinator, data (RCD) is a vital member of the 4 person recruitment infrastructure team. This team plays a critical role in ensuring that we meet our ambitious 2010 goals by delivering timely, accurate information for decision-making about recruitment campaigns being conducted on hundreds of college and university campuses nationwide, and campaigns targeting potential recruits who have already graduated and entered the work force. In addition, the team provides training and ongoing support and coaching to users of our prospect database, SalesLogix (SLX).

The RCD will be responsible for analyzing data and generating data reports to assist with management decision-making both during recruitment campaigns and as the team plans future recruitment campaigns. The RCD will be trained to use two database systems, and will leverage that training and hands-on experience to play a role in the infrastructure team’s work in user training and support, and database development and maintenance. In addition to these responsibilities, the RCD will manage the calendar of the Managing Director, Recruitment Infrastructure (MDRI) and serve as the infrastructure team’s budget tracker.

The RCD position is an excellent way to gain exposure to how the recruitment team uses information to ground its short and long term decisions, to strengthen skills in analysis and written communications and to learn best practices around the collection, management and use of information in organizations. The RCD reports to the MDRI and works closely with two other positions: the Director, Recruitment Infrastructure and Manager, Recruitment Infrastructure.

Teach For America seeks individuals of all ethnic and racial backgrounds to apply for the position.
