Telephone Answering Service - Communications Specialist (Operator) (Tigard)
Advanced Communications (World Class Communications) is one of the oldest Telephone Answering Service and communications companies in the Pacific Northwest. Since 1926, we have provided excellent service to clients that include the medical and legal communities, government organizations, non-profit agencies and many tech-based companies.
We are a casual environment located in the Tigard area of Portland, but very professional and customer service minded.

FULL & TIME POSITIONS: Answering Service ~ Communications Specialist
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 4
HOURS: 20 - 40 per week
POSITIONS: 3 Evenings (3-5 evenings per week, will include weekends)
DESCRIPTION: We are seeking mature minded, friendly, intelligent and articulate people who will fit well into our upbeat and casual, but sometimes fast paced setting, processing inbound calls from clients, including Internet order taking, Internet reservations, emergency medical calls, etc. Schedule will include weekend shifts and various Holidays. The staff is a fun group of eclectic individuals, who work well together, but always place the highest priority for exceptional customer service and follow through. People who are detail minded, bilingual or have previous experience are encouraged to apply. Training rate starts at $8 per hour.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Exceptional communications skills, pleasant attitude, adaptability and positive personality are essential to this position.
* Minimum of 35-45 wpm typing with high accuracy (interview process includes typing proficiency test).
* Ability to work well with others. Proficiency of Windows based programs and Internet knowledge.
* Reliable transportation and dependability is essential for the right candidate.
This position includes the opportunity to work from home after training (a minimum of six months).
